Caron
In 1904 in Paris, the House of Caron was born from the spark created by the meeting of two extraordinary personalities: Félicie Wampouille and Ernest Daltroff. The Daltroff brothers set up their office in Paris at 10 rue de la Paix, in a perfumery-haberdashery shop called Caron, in 1904. They decided to keep this name, which would go on to enjoy the success we know today. With his muse and partner Félicie Wampouille, they created Narcisse Noir in 1911 and the great successes Fleur de Rocaille and, in 1934, among others, Pour un Homme. In 1988, Caron's perfumes were bought by the Ales group, and the current perfumer is Richard Fraysse. Caron's modern line includes: Yatagan (1976), Nocturnes (1981), Parfum Sacré (1990), Aimez-moi (1996), L'Anarchiste (2000), Miss Rocaille (2004). Among the most recent is Montaigne (2007), a reissue of the 1986 perfume, followed by Parfum Sacré Intense.
