Born in 1942, American designer Calvin Klein created the brand that bears his name in 1968. Calvin Klein achieved his first olfactory successes with the perfume Calvin Klein Obsession in 1985, then in 1998 with Eternity, both also launched for men. The designer achieved his greatest success in 1995 with ck one, a unisex perfume in a flat bottle that revolutionised fresh fragrances. The ck line was followed by ck be in 1997 and the ckIN2U duo in 2007. Among the brand's other creations are Contradiction, Euphoria, Escape and the recent Man.
