Nina Ricci
Nina Ricci, real name Maria Adélaïde Nielli, nicknamed the "white lady", is a French couturière of Italian origin, born on 14 January 1882 in Turin and died on 30 November 1970. In 1932, she founded her haute couture house in Paris. She married Luigi Ricci, with whom she had a son, Robert, who ran the fashion house for several years but also created the Harcourt photography studio. Businessman Robert Ricci turned perfumer and, in 1946, created Coeur Joie, a stunning musky floral. With Capricci, Fille d'Eve, Farouche or Nina, successes multiplied as the house kept growing, a globally sought-after symbol of Parisian taste. In 1948, a myth took flight in the entwined wings of two crystal doves: L'Air du Temps would stand the test of time and forever seal the exclusive collaboration between Lalique and Ricci. Among the other perfumes are: Nina (1986), Deci Delà (1994), Les Belles de Ricci (1996), Premier Jour (2001) and Love in Paris (2004). L'Air du Temps in Doves colour (2006), Nina (2006), L'Eau du Temps (2007), Love by Nina (2009), Ricci Ricci (2009), Le Paradis de Nina (2010), Nina L'Elixir (2010).
