Ferragamo is an Italian shoe company founded in 1928 by Salvatore Ferragamo (1898-1960). His style, his creativity and his desire to "eroticise" women's ankles made him the shoemaker to the stars (Judy Garland, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe...). The brand diversified with handbags in 1949, and women's ready-to-wear in 1965. The year 2001 saw the launch of the women's fragrance Salvatore Ferragamo. A men's version followed a year later. In 2006, the brand launched F by Ferragamo, a fragrance offered in a men's version and under various women's variations. Ferragamo has developed many floral fruity women's fragrances such as Incanto Shine, Incanto Heaven... For Ferragamo, perfumes must enhance women just as its shoes did.
