Marc Jacobs is an American fashion designer born in New York in 1963. He began his career at Perry Ellis, then created the brand that bears his name. In addition to his own brand, Marc Jacobs is the artistic director of Louis Vuitton. He launched his first perfumes, a women's and a men's fragrance, in the early 2000s. In 2006, he launched a fragrance collection named Splash: each one bearing the name of a raw material or a deliberately minimalist olfactory theme, such as ivy, grapefruit, amber, cotton, rain... In 2007, he unveiled Daisy, a floral bouquet in a bottle with a daisy-shaped cap, a perfume for which he received several awards.
