Dior
DIOR and perfumes share a great love story… and a great success story. Among the brand's major creations, Eau Sauvage must be mentioned. A Dior perfume for men created in 1966, which revolutionised perfumery thanks to hedione, a jasmine note with remarkable freshness. Even today, it remains one of the perfumery's best-sellers. In 1985, Dior launched Poison: a perfume with a provocative and powerful name for a juice that is just as strong (spicy ambery tuberose). It was followed by Tendre Poison (1994, greener), Hypnotic Poison (1998, ambery woody spicy) and more recently Pure Poison (2004, floral and soft). Another great success, the masculine Fahrenheit, woody floral, launched in 1988. Its note of wood and violet transformed the world of men's fragrances. And among Dior's other great successes, there is J'adore (1999), a vibrant fruity floral in an amphora-shaped bottle with generous curves, and Dior Addict, a sensual oriental where vanilla meets the queen of the night, a disturbing flower.
