Couturier
Jean Couturier worked with Yves Saint Laurent in the 1960s and is one of the founders of YSL Parfums. He was behind the launches of Y and Rive Gauche, as well as Azzaro pour Homme. In 1972, together with his wife "Jacky", Jacqueline, daughter and granddaughter of perfumers who grew up in Grasse and took up the career of perfumer there, he decided to create their own perfume house. As early as 1973, she shook up the values of perfumery by creating Coriandre, which remains one of the house's greatest successes. Eau Fraîche followed in 1974, Monsieur in 1976, Coriandre eau de toilette in 1993, Eau de Coriandre in 1996, Marjolaine in 1997, Lilas Mauve in 2001 and Un Jardin à Paris in 2009.
