Carolina Herrera

Born in Caracas (Venezuela) in 1939, Carolina Herrera is an internationally renowned American fashion designer. In 1981, she arrived in New York and created her fashion house. Success soon followed, and in 1987 she launched her first perfume, Carolina Herrera, followed by her first men's perfume 4 years later. The olfactory crowning achievement came in 1997 with the perfume 212, with a very modern look inspired by the city and an original musky floral scent. 212 was launched for men in 1990. The line is also frequently reissued as summer editions, and more recently gave rise to another duo, 212 Sexy.
