L’Homme Eau de Parfum by Yves Saint-Laurent brilliantly manages to preserve the warm and emblematic accord of its elders, renowned for their woody breath. However, it appears as a more powerful and intoxicating variation of L’Homme by Yves Saint-Laurent. For this, it is distilled from oak chips. These come from barrels made in Cognac. Thus, L’Homme Eau de Parfum by Yves Saint-Laurent is infused like a liqueur, which gives a certain roundness and great power to its trail. Note also that, in a burst of virility, it contains even other woods. Cedar amplifies its persistence. 

It acts here as a guardian for this perfume and gives it an additional vibration. Supporting its entire olfactory pyramid, it blends with the drier, earthier and darker aspect of vetiver.
