A GIRL IN CAPRI

The bucolic sweetness of orchards and gardens brimming with produce. The composition opens with the essence of Primafiore lemon. A radiant fragrance which is intensely optimistic, like the noonday sun as it splashes its blinding light onto the pavements of the quiet streets. This lemon is distinctive because of the exceptional quality of its fragrant oil and its constant blooms that imbue the streets year-round with their heady scents.
Bergamot tempers the lively opening and a scattering of pink peppercorns brings a tingle of mischief.
The heart of the fragrance boasts the unprecedented delicacy of a little-known white flower. As the petals of the grapefruit tree unfurl, they are similar (are they not cousins?) to those of neroli. But these are more sparkling, more alive and dare we say it, more elegant. Simply exquisite, infinitely graceful.
In counterpoint, because Capri is a paradise that rises from the water, the eminent perfumer Sophie Labbé crafted a (very) subtle seaspray accord.
The final lingering note brings the enigmatic resonance of driftwood. Having travelled for decades on the waves, it comes to rest on a beach. The mystery of the fragrance expresses itself through this driftwood; and its intensity is evocative of ancient legends.
In the end white musks bring tenderness and harmony, bringing a gentle touch to the final note
