Né en 1934, Giorgio Armani crée sa propre marque en 1975 et signe un partenariat avec L’Oréal pour les parfums en 1980. Son premier parfum féminin Armani est créé en 82, puis Armani pour Homme suit 2 ans plus tard. Le créateur lancera de nombreuses autres créations comme Gio et Acqua di Gio, dont la version masculine (1996) est aujourd’hui un des parfums les plus vendus au monde. A l’instar de sa mode, ses parfums sont composés de plusieurs collections, comme Emporio Armani, ligne jeune et branchée et Armani Privé, ligne de parfums Haute Couture.
