L’activité de parfumerie voit le jour en 1936 mais il faut attendre 1944 pour voir apparaître la marque de parfums Rochas telle qu’on la connaît aujourd’hui. Le parfumeur Edmond Roudnitska crée Femme, un chypré-fruité qui devient un incontournable de la maison. Dans les années 50, Marcel Rochas ferme sa maison de couture et se consacre uniquement à la conception de parfums. Il meurt quelques années après. L’hespéridé Eau de Roche rebaptisé Eau de Rochas (1970) devient le best-seller de la marque. Une version masculine d’Eau de Rochas, fraîche et boisée, est proposée en 1993. Des fragrances voient ensuite le jour comme Tocade (1994) ou Eau de Rochas fraîche (2010).
