In 1904 in Paris, the House of Caron was born from the spark created by the meeting of two extraordinary personalities: Félicie Wampouille and Ernest Daltroff. The Daltrof brothers set up their Paris office at 10 rue de la paix in a perfume and haberdashery store called Caron in 1904. They decided to keep the name, which would become the success we know today. With his muse and partner Félicie Wampouille they created Narcisse noire in 1911 and the great successes Fleur de rocaille and Pour un homme en autre in 1934. In 1988 Caron Perfumes was bought by the Ales group and the current nose is Richard Fraysse. Caron's modern line includes : Yatagan in 1976, Nocturnes in 1981, Parfum sacré in 1990, Aimez moi in 1996, L'anarchiste in 2000, Miss rocaille in 2004. The most recent fragrances include Montaigne in 2007, a re-edition of the 1986 perfume, followed by Parfum Sacré Intense.
